Note: This Page will remain here for a
period of time in respect to our friend Bart Anderson, K7EDU.
Bart Anderson, K7EDU, SK

Delorice Anderson called Dan
Farwell, W8EQA, to ask that word be given
out to the local ham radio community that her husband Bart Anderson,
K7EDU, has passed away.
According to Dan, Bart had been through a knee replacement in the last
year that did go well and very recently had it redone. Dan told
me that in the last few years he had the privilege of being the one
Bart called for ham radio pleasures and problems. Dan said helping him
set up a new 2 meter rig or replacing the coax to his ancient ten meter
beam was an opportunity he cherished and said it was an honor to get to
know him.
Many of us in the Club knew Bart from many different avenues, including
Amateur Radio. He was one of our Club’s founders and quickly
became a friend to anyone who had the opportunity to meet him. He will
definitely be missed.
Friends and family are invited to offer condolences at www.memoriesofbartanderson.blogspot.com
which has been set up to honor Bart's life.
Funeral services for Bart were held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 in
St. George. A viewing was held Friday evening as well as
on Saturday before the services.
A copy of the obituary is available below
as a PDF file as well as a reprint of an article that appeared in the
March 25, 2009 edition of the Spectrum Newspaper.
