Our next club meeting will be on June 19th, 2002 on the Wednesday just before Field Day.
(Field Day is June 22-23, 2002. Set up starts at 8:00 AM.)
Field Day will be held at Santa Clara Park in the pavilion next to the public restroom and BBQ pit facilities.
We have a new club meeting location. It’s on the third floor of the Student Services building at Dixie College right next to the Dixie College radio and TV stations.
Park in the 100 South college parking lot near the old Harmon’s Grocery building.
Proceed south to the Student Services Building and take the elevator to the third floor. There will be a talk-in available to the club site on 146.91- prior to the meeting.

Our Sunday evening net also meets on 146.91-. During daylight savings time the net meets at 8:00 PM and at 7:00 PM during the rest of the year.
The club dues are still only $15.00 and are due at the first of each calendar year.

As a special incentive we will accept food donations for the Field Day BBQ in lieu of
Dues payments for this year only. Please attend the club meeting and sign up for what you want to bring and save your store receipts as your proof of purchases.
Here is a starter list for food materials needed for the BBQ:
Drinks: Soda pop (at least 4 twelve packs assorted), Bottled water, Gator Aid, ICE.
Cups, paper plates, plastic tinsels, napkins.
Hamburger patties – approximately 75, Hot Dogs – 2 eight packs (Buns for all)
Chips: Corn and Potato (4 bags), Baked Beans (3 Qts), Potato Salad (3 Qts)
Any desert items, cookies work well.

Our callsign for this year’s event will be W7DRC, our new vanity callsign.
Make plans to stop by and say “Hello”. We need lots of help for setup and more volunteers are needed the cw/PSK-31 station.
We would like someone to handle our Section Manager message origination and copying the FD Message, these are both 100-point extras.
