Dean Cox gave a nice presentation on repeaters at the August meeting.

September meeting will cover the upcoming St. George Marathon.

Silent Key:

We are sad to announce the passing of our secretary, Mike Wellhoff, KC7HGA on Friday, August 2^nd, 2002.

The St. George Marathon will be held on Saturday, October 5^th, 2002.

The DARC will again be assisting this event with radio communication.

Flying Horse Callbook throwing in the towel:

In 1997 the Flying Horse Callbook ceased to print their publication and went to a CD ROM format only. As of 2003 the Callbook will call it quits citing rising costs and availability of the FCC database online as limiting their sales. Callsign information is also available free at the Buckmaster and QRZ websites.
