The Dixie Amateur Radio Club meets the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the
old Harmon's building at 55 South and 900 East in St. George.
There is a Volunteer Examiner test session prior to each club meeting at 6:00 PM. The VE
test fee for 2003 is $12.00.

AES Hamfest: 4640 S. Polaris Ave., Las Vegas, NV- First Saturday of every
month starts at 7:00 AM.

The St. George Marathon and the Huntsman World Senior Games!
Come to the August DARC meeting for Marathon dates and details.
DARC will need the following operators for the Huntsman World Senior Games:
Hill Climb- Snow Canyon-Tuesday Oct. 7th, 9 AM~12:30...(3 operators)
Time Trial- Enterprise-Wednesday Oct. 8th, 9:30 AM~12:30...(3 operators)
Road Race- Ivins, Gunlock, Veyo, Snow Canyon & back to Ivins.
Friday Oct. 10, 9:00 AM~12:30... (At least 6 operators)
Also this year the Games are requesting our help at these additional events:
10K Road Race-Snow Canyon-Monday Oct. 6th, 9:00 AM to !!:00 AM...(3 operators)
Triathlon at Sand Hollow swimming pool through Ivins to Red Mtn. Spa:
Saturday Oct. 11th, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM...(3 operators)
The Games depend on our communications efforts for safety and they are greatful for our help!

The DARC Sunday evening net meets at 8 PM during daylight savings time. | |
DIXIE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB call sign is W7DRC. We sponsor two repeaters:
145.49- (100 Hz tone) and 146.64-. Our Sunday evening net is held on 146.91-(NR7K).
The 146.64 Repeater is no longer in operation - Stay tuned for updates.
In the event that the
146.91 repeater is not operational we will conduct the Sunday evening net on 145.49.
If none of these repeaters are operational we will conduct the DARC Sunday net on 146.91 Simplex.
