(with the exception of December) at 7:00 PM

Five County Association of Governments Building.

Volunteer Examiner (VE) test session will be held on Wednesday, August
at 6:00 P.M. at the FCAOG Office building location:
1070 West 1600 South, Building B
Tonaquint Center Business Park
St. George, Utah
FCAOG building will be open at 5:45 P.M.
for those coming for the test
The VE test fee for 2004 is $12.00.

Dixie Amateur Radio Club logo shirt, hat and safety vest orders will be
taken at the August meeting. A separate e-mail will be sent to each
member with pictures of the shirts prior to the meeting and samples
will be available for a "hands-on" before you decide to order.
We will then have the hats vests
and shirts available for either pickup from Gary Zabriskie's (N7ARE)
office at the FCAOG or at the September meeting, whichever you prefer.

NEXT MONTH (SEPTEMBER) WE WILL HAVE HERB BASSO FROM ST. GEORGE CITY
RECREATION DEPARTMENT AT OUR CLUB MEETING TO HELP US PREPARE FOR THE
ST. GEORGE MARATHON.
The Ogden ARC will Sponsor a Hamfest this summer
on Saturday 14 August 2004. It will be held at the National Guard
Armory in South Ogden. This will be the first time in many years
that a Hamfest will be held along the Wasatch Front Area and I would
like to encourage everyone to make plans to attend and support this
event. Please note that the Utah Hamfest (Usually held at Bryce
Canyon will not be held this year but will return in 2005). I
will provide more information as it becomes available Please feel free
to contact Mel Parkes, AC7CP, Utah Section Manager at AC7CP@aol.com if you have any

heat can't be THAT much more intolerable than Utah's Dixie.... Hot is
you haven't paid your dues yet for this year, if you haven't looked
it's already 2/3 over.
Look at the calendar and you'll see that pretty soon it'll be this time
